Enticing people to get a flu shot can be a challenge. After all, who likes to go get poked in the arm? But humour has a way of making the least enjoyable activity interesting. We gave birth to a couple of viruses named (what else?) Vi & Russ, and followed them on their winter adventures. And Saskatchewan people are such great "hosts", Vi & Russ couldn't wait to meet them!
A series of Facebook video ads ran for 5 weeks and invited viewers to find out more on the Association's web page.

TransGas
TransGas, the well-known Saskatchewan natural gas transmission company, has long used TNDG for all its communication materials. This series of print ads were placed in the O&G trade magazines to reach its desired target audience, oil and gas exploration companies. Although they were not the only factor, after the ads ran drilling in Saskatchewan increased by 5.6% in 2008. GASp!
City of Moose Jaw
Our charge was to develop an energetic and effective community brand for the City of Moose Jaw. In collaboration with North Star Destination Strategies who handled the research, we implemented a branding strategy that capitalized and highlighted the city unique qualities and characteristics. Logo, slogan, visual identity guide, multiple communication tools and a complete marketing strategy were enthusiastically received by stakeholders in business, tourism and civic organizations.
Skyhawk Consulting
Skyhawk's brand takes off
An Aboriginal-owned company, Skyhawk Consulting came to us as they were about to launch their enterprise. Branding was the order of the day of course, which gave us the opportunity to design a brand that reflects the cultural roots of First Nations while demonstrating their professional expertise. The hawk was a personal choice of the owner, very much in keeping with traditional association of one's soul with a particular animal. This gave us a great start and opened the door to related images and graphics, deployed in a consistent way across corporate folder, displays, fleet truck and website.

Ombudsman Saskatchewan
We were involved in a two-phase awareness campaign for Ombudsman Saskatchewan. Both had for objective to increase public awareness of OMBSk’s services. In particular, it was our task to increase public awareness of not only the better-known role of government overseer, but to more specifically confirm its stewardship in the areas of health services, utilities, and automobile insurance. In collaboration with OMBSk, we developed a series of key messages and visual treatments, which were tested via focus groups. Based on the conclusion of this testing, the final concepts and designs were crafted into what became a province-wide campaign
The communication strategy and media plan were developed, always mindful of the limited budget while still aiming to reach as wide an audience as possible. It included busboards, print ads in select newspapers, online ads, and a TV spot for which we secured a public service announcement status. This meant free air time on several networks, a great value to OMBSk. Furthermore, we used health networks to circulate informational posters and digital messages. The campaign was also weaved into OMBSk’s website.
